BNPT’s Search for Permanence

The chief of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT), Saud Usman Nasution, told the House of Representatives (DPR) on Thursday (Jan. 29) that his agency needs a proper office, additional human resources, and extra funding to tackle terrorism in Indonesia. It’s worth noting that the BNPT have never had their own office, and have always lacked human resources to support their operations. [continue reading]
